Sponsoring a camera requires individuals to agree to the following:
- A camera sponsor may be either an individual or an organization. A camera may be sponsored in the name of a loved one or in honor of a loved one as well. Any organization must be a legally recognized entity ( Sole Proprietor, Partnership, Limited Liability Company/Partnership (LLC/LLP), Corporation, Subchapter S Corporation, NPO). No sponsors will be accepted if the name of the entity is offensive or otherwise unfit to publish in a kindergarten classroom.
- Jaguar photographs in our photo gallery taken by the camera you have sponsored will bear the individual's or entity's name. Photographs used by members of the Borderlands Jaguar Detection Project (hereafter referred to as BJDP) in Scientific or other presentations may NOT have this sponsorship information included.
- You've no entitlements to any photographs taken by the BJDP, including authorization to publish, use, or in any way claim ownership of said photograph.
- Sponsorship information will not be removed if the individual or organization fails to continue sponsoring a camera for a second season.
- If a sponsor is unable to receive photographs electronically or to view photographs on the world wide web, the individual will forfeit his/their option to view the photographs before they are published on the web.
- The sponsor will be notified in a timely fashion of the success of the camera. Sponsors that do not capture a photograph of a Jaguar will be notified of the condition of their camera.
- All sponsors will receive a list and tally of the species captured by their camera via email.
By continuing with the sponsorship process, you are agreeing to the above conditions.
